The best taqueria hands down!
Carnitas is what their known for, but everything is good. Folks come from SF to La Tapatia.
Long lines but very efficient service. Line can be out the door and your out of there in a few minutes.
You know when the older Mexican folks shop here for all their condiment needs this must be the place!
I'm a regular, and when family comes from out of town this is one of the places I bring them too. I have family that would buy a burrito for the plane ride. Also they even have a music video called burrito addiction on YouTube. How cool is that?? -

Tapatia is a random taco joint inside of a small market.
Street meter parking right outside. Cash only.
Service was fast. Food was made to order right in front of you.
Super Breakfast Burrito - $8.70 - Huge! About the size of an infant baby. Good filling ratio. Ton of guac. Got carne for my meat and it was cooked well and had good seasoning.
Fried Beef Taco - $2.40 - Crispy. Fried so perfectly.
Beef Tamale - $2.10 - Meat was flavorful and tender. Good masa to meat combo.
Great food. Wish they weren't so stingy on the salsa. -

Was debating on coming here or going El Farolito across the street. Decided to come here despite the mixed reviews in part because it was family-owned.
First of all, the waiting line set up was confusing. I had to ask someone. There's a sign that says "burrito", but what if I want something else other than burrito, like tacos? Lol.
I ordered the carne asada super burrito. It was average at best. Lacking flavor and I barely saw any guacamole or sour cream.
When the guy was cooking my carne asada, he placed the next order, which was raw pork, very close to my carne asada on the frying table. Not safe. Very scary, especially when they rush and therefore the heat don't have enough time to cook all the raw meats....
The price was fair though.
It seems like it's nicely run by a family and I'm sure they are hard working. But I won't be back for this taqueria, especially when El Farolito is across the street.
I wish this business success. -

Great little while in the wall Latin market with grill. The carnitas are hard to beat but overall you can't go wrong with anything from here. I highly recommend if you see them making chicharones to hang tight and get you some - they are freaking delicious! Not overly burnt of undercooked chewy but right in between those extremes.

Obsessed with the chorizo breakfast burrito here. Everything just kind of melds together and has such amazing flavor. I love their refried beans and their fresh corn tortillas as well.
